Dmitriy Pavlov

Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Dmitriy Pavlov currently lives and works in Madison, Wisconsin. His successful exhibitions in Finland and Russia, including the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, have earned him an international recognition and art awards.

Professional Journey

Dmitriy Pavlov
Dmitriy's professional journey began in 1981 in Russkiye Samotsvety (Russian Gems) Corporation, where he grew from engraver to leading engraving artist and designer. In 1999, Dmitriy and his wife, Galina, immigrated to the United States and in 2002 he started the DP Studio. Besides his independent art craft, he also works as an Associate Master for Howard Academy for the Metal Arts in Stoughton, WI.

In the process of artwork creation, Dmitriy Pavlov uses the technology of hand piercing and engraving, which he exclusively developed.
