The fish shaped frame with filigree snappers and tail is pierced and engraved from a solid piece of sterling silver. The frame holds a human eye looking fish “flesh” made of petrified wood. The eagle/hawk/bird in the center of the eye pupil is carved from a mammoth ivory.

Three X-shaped crosses, pierced and engraved from solid silver sheets (2 frames on the outside, background on the inside) are soldered together on tubing used as bezel. Pierced and engraved birds are soldered onto the crosses, the front side pointing to the center, and the back side away from the center. Birds symbolize the Apocalypse horse riders: red – pink gold; pale – palladium white gold; white – sterling silver; black – Damascus steel. The 1Ct. green and blue doublet opals on the front side and 0.9Ct. the red opal on the back side are set into the same bezel from the different ends. The sixteen 0.2Ct. rubies are in each corner of the cross are set in bezels as well.
